<p>First, we can replace white carbohydrates with whole grains. You will be amazed by their taste and ability to fill us quickly!</p>



<p>As a snack, we can choose whole meal crackers, seeds or nuts. Another weapon in our hands is popcorn, which supplies us with the a small amount of iron and fiber. At the same time, there are also so many seeds in the market – and these are great as snacks, full of fiber and iron (among other minerals)!</p>

Ideally, we should be advised by our physician or dietitian who owns the right knowledge and information about our medical history and specific needs. However, supplement intake is not objectionable. <p>For the majority of people, weekends are days of relaxation. At the young age of school-going children and after-school students, this can be said to be a given, with the difference that they have to deal with their readings over the weekend.</p>
<p><span id="more-6692"></span>For the older who work they are the most common, though here we will find many jobs that do not cease to exist. For example, shopkeepers work on Saturdays, or waiters in cafes and restaurants also work on Sundays.</p>
<p>For all these people, staying home and trying to get rid of the stress and stress in their workplace and not only, it is very important what they choose to do or not do for their nutrition and therefore their health.</p>
<p>It is known that, most of the time, a man who returns from work wants to rest, both physically and mentally. The weekends offer plenty of time towards this direction, and this is where the choice is made to determine whether we will overload ourselves with food. It is common practice for people to stay at home without even knowing what to do. They usually sit on the couch, watch TV either alone or with relatives or friends and of course eat ready-made foods and snacks, which in the majority are harmful to the body. More specifically, both the way they are prepared and the way they are cooked is not the most appropriate.</p>
<p>People need to improve their diet daily, even while dieting, in order to lose unnecessary pounds that are physically and psychologically stressful. For these people, choosing to do nothing all weekend will be a major disadvantage to their body and will probably disrupt every effort they have made the rest of the week. This effort is aided by the fact that on weekdays a person spends most of his hours at work. There, he must work and produce work, thus minimizing the times he puts something in his mouth, while at the same time training both his body and his mind, depending on the work he does. Based on the above, the body is still in operation and burning calories.</p>
<p>So, in conclusion, I could say that it is very important for a person on a diet to keep himself in motion and engage in various activities so that his body can burn more.</p>
<p>In a weekend that we have plenty of free time, we should not be fooled. We cannot believe that the past week was all about being faithful to a diet and now, at the weekend it is the time to reward ourselves with “forbidden” diet hacks.</p>
<p>We must stay true to a balanced nutrition plan and thereby minimize deviations from it. Thus, our healthy eating efforts will not be destroyed and thrown away into the trash.</p>

<p>Diabetes is affecting millions of people around the globe. There are two types of diabetes that are very common. Food in general or the daily diet plays an important role in the control of diabetes. </p>



<p>So.. what’s the real issue here? The problem mainly arises due to the pancreatic cells which fail to produce insulin. The blood glucose level rise and results in many abnormalities in the body. No panic. Food can really help. </p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Vegetables</h3>



<p>Vegetables are considered to be the powerhouse of nutrients. These are low in the calories and high in the fiber content or simply the carbohydrates. Introducing a diet plan with plenty of vegetables means that you are adding a very small amount of simple sugars in your diet. Consequently the blood glucose level will tend to decrease at very exceptional rate.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Fruits</h3>



<p>Although these are high in sugar content, yet they are preferred due to zero fat content and high nutritious values. Fruits serve as a rich source of antioxidants and provide you with a lot of energy. These should be consumed in small quantities though and raw, fresh fruit should be preferred than fruit juices (more simple sugars, less fiber)</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Legumes</h3>



<p>Pulses or legumes serve as a rich source of protein. Well, meat will give you fat plus protein but beans  and pulses serve as a rich source of protein and carbohydrates, no fat content. You can use legumes in salads as well, as they are highly recommended to diabetics.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Cereals</h3>



<p>Wheat flour with bran added, serves as a rich source of energy and fiber but It should be noted that diabetics should be very careful with cereals and always choose wholegrain rice, pasta, bread and crackers. The excess fiber in these wholegrain products will help balance blood sugar levels.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">White Meat</h3>



<p>NOTE: Fish and chicken. Low in fat and high in protein content. Contrary to red meat, white meat is easy to cook and digest. Diabetics can accompany white meat with grilled vegetables, cold salads and different soups and broths. Fish is a rich source of omega 3 fatty acids so, go for it!</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Low Fat Yoghurt</h3>



<p>Yoghurt and a little bit of honey, yoghurt and some cinnamon, yoghurt and some dried fruits make a very beautiful snacking combination, but again, everything should be consumed in moderation.</p>

<p><strong>How to accept food as a source of enjoyment and pleasure:</strong></p>



<p>Food is splendid and it’s ok to feel pleasure from eating or drinking it. In fact, if you start eating foods that you genuinely enjoy, you will notice that you will eat less overall because you’re not left obsessing over the food you really wanted. And again, remember that there’s no guilt in eating foods you love, as long as you are truly in the mood for it and you are not using it as a substitute for emotional comfort. Food can make you feel good in the short term and long term.</p>



<p><strong>Focus on feeling wonderful:</strong></p>



<p>There is a test anyone can benefit from and that is to simply ask if what you’re eating makes you feel good at the exact moment you’re eating it, two hours after or the next day. If the answer is yes to all above mentioned three options, then we say, go for it!
