Open to aspiring musicians, producers, creative professionals and cultural managers, the Open Discussion session will focus on various aspects of navigating in today’s music industry, ranging from music production to developing a sustainable career in music. Curated by industry professionals including Panayiotis Georgiou (frontman of Arcadian Child), Marios Takoushis (Composer: ‘Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit’, BBC, and Channel 4; Mighty Sugarcane), Michalis Karakatsanis (Cyprus Music Information Centre), as well as Andreas Trachonitis and Lefteris Moumtzis (Louvana Records). All topics will be shortly introduced, and then in an open discussion format participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas. The discussion will be recorded and will be available online for future reference.
