You will enjoy the magnificent Four Seasons by Vivaldi and stunning Ave Maria aria by Schubert surrounded by mesmerizing light installations in Saint Catherine’s Catholic Church in Limassol. Part of the funds will be donated to St. Catherine’s Church Fund to help the ones in need.

Four seasons by Vivaldi will be performed by one of the best and unique violin quartets in Cyprus PapaGiorgio.

Ave Maria by Schubert will be performed by the talented opera singer Vasiliki Konstanti. She has performed in Italy, Germany, Cyprus and Greece.

Konstanti has collaborated with acclaimed orchestras such as the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra, the Athens City Symphony Orchestra, the Leipzig Symphony Orchestra and the Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock

Are you ready for Trick or Treat? The 3^rd Autumn Festival – Halloween Edition, by Inspired Family Fun is coming! On Saturday 19^th and Sunday 20^th October at the Acropolis Park in Nicosia, and on Saturday 26^th, Sunday 27^th and Monday 28^th October 2019 at Limassol’s National Forest Park in Ekali.

Lots of Halloween special activities and games, Halloween parties, pumpkin decorating and crafting, candy making, sugar crafting, bumping boats, horse & pony rides, bungee jumping trampolines, funfair and many more surprises, will spread the Halloween magic to kids and adults alike. Entrance is €2 per person and includes trick or treat, arts & crafts and a rich entertainment program with Halloween parties, dance, competitions, Halloween Zumba, spooky story readings and many surprises.

The festival will support Karaiskakion Foundation and the volunteers will be there as always to collect new donor samples.

Join us at the Limassol Marina (West Side/Roundabout) at 9 a.m. on the 1st of SEPTEMBER 2019, for this entertaining event, full of fun, joy and teamwork.

Companies can participate with their own team(s) which can utilize this superior team-building event to attain team cohesion amongst colleagues. Companies can also take this opportunity for targeted marketing, by advertising through the design of their uniforms, and promoting their organization’s products and services by informing attendees in kiosks they can set up at the Marina.

Teams can also be formed by groups of friends, your gym members, your family, even with Funraising volunteers, not necessarily through your company. Just register your team!

This year there will be two types of teams. One with maximum 20 paddlers (16-20 members) and the other with maximum 10 paddlers (8-10 members). Each team will have to bring an additional person to be the drummer. Hence, teams will end up having 21 or 11 persons, respectively.
It is necessary that participants can swim; are 12 years of age or older; have completed a two hour training (€5/pp per hour) prior to the race, to learn dragon boat paddling and safety rules.

The event celebrates the foundation’s 10 years of continuous success, and all supporters, members and friends of the foundation are invited to come and celebrate and find out the achievements and the future goals of the Foundation.

The Foundation was set up by friends and family in loving memory of the late Dr Yiota Demetriou whose vision to help children in the field of child psychology was tragically cut short as the result of being killed by a drunk driver.  Although Dr Yiota Demetriou did not live to realise her dream, the Foundation continues to keep her vision alive by making a real difference in the lives of children and teenagers in need of therapy. Under the Foundation, the Miranda Fund was established to help children with Special Needs, therefore giving the charity a wider scope to help children in more areas.  The Foundation aims to raise funds in order to provide financial assistance to the families and also strives to educate and promote the awareness of mental health issues and the adverse effects they have on the children of our society.

These aspirations would not be possible without the continued support and generous donations of all who attend the fundraising events. So put your “summer mood and outfit” on and join us at the    10-year anniversary party by the sea for a good cause and a night to remember.
