One of the most delicious, summery creams is Anarokrema! Soft, sweet with a crunchy twist, a true Traditional Cypriot dish made with the local cheese “Anari”.
1 kg anari (not salted),
½ cup of powdered sugar,
1 teaspoon of cinnamon,
1 tablespoon of rose water,
2 tablespoons of whipping cream,
½ kg of baklava leaves,
1 tablespoon of honey,
Cut the baklava leaves into pieces, stir with little butter and bake in the oven for 25 minutes.
Blend the anari in the mixer with the sugar, cinnamon and rose water.
Add the whipping cream and continue mixing.
In a bowl, place a few of the baked baklava leaves on the base, then add some of the anari mixture, then baked baklava leaves and repeat until the ingredients finish.
Decorate with honey and walnuts.
