Unemployment is the new scourge that oscillates many countries around the world.  Since 2013, Cyprus had high rates of unemployment due to the economic crisis in March that year!

However, in the last few years there has been a significant reduction to the rates (March 2013 15.8% – Feb 2019 7.1%) and the total number of the unemployed people decreased by a lot! Τhis consistent growth is due to the motivational strategies the Republic of Cyprus managed to establish, which assisted the overall island’s economy to progressively recover and thrive.

According to the Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus, the following professions will offer high demand of employment in the next decade (by 2027) so pay attention if you are going for studies or even considering a career change!
